I love being a hypnotherapist, it gives me a reason to go to work in the morning.

I love the idea of being able to help other people achieve their goals or just be able to improve their lives.

But I’ve found the hardest part of building my practise is getting my name out there.

I know there are so many options available these days to entrepreneurs. No longer do you just have to rely on a small add in the yellow pages or your local telephone directory.

One of the most important aspects is getting your name out there on the internet, building your online presence.

Now I have to admit, that all this is new to me.

A website is the first thing now that any blossoming business needs, I never realised how many choices there is, to getting your web presence.

From finding a host, to choosing a template and putting in your own details.
Them bits I found fairly easy it was when I suddenly ran in to the wonders of SEO.

Its no wonder that their are people out the who make a fortune just specialising in this language minefield.

Going through all the details of your site page by page, link by link trying to describe what you do, who your are & how you do it in language that a search engine will find attractive.

So by now many books have been read and my head scratched while whole sheets of fools-cap have words scribbled, from top to bottom in my spidery shorthand.

Ready to be, tried out on my site host’s help sheet and so far it feels like I’m trying to break the enigma code with a chalk board and a abacus. I don’t think I’ve ever found anything in my life that’s been quite so frustrating.

Even passing my driving test didn’t make me break out in a cold sweat and suffer quite so many nightmares as I have with this web based scrabble game.

I honestly don’t see my self winning anytime soon.

But in the mean time I’ll carry on trying different combination’s, in a vain hope of one day finding my golden seo combination.

If there’s any topics you’d like to discuss or maybe any advice or comment’s you’d like to make.
I’d love to hear from you.

Love & light…
